How it works
Timex is a facility for timeshare owners to arrange their own exchanges for practically no cost. Please help other owners by replying quickly to messages, deleting your own listing as soon as you have completed your exchange and, especially, by giving help and advice to the owner you are exhanging with. A little kindness goes a long way.
Please note that it is essential that you confirm your booking with the resort and familiarise yourself with the check-in and check-out procedures.
The cost for using Timex is $15 (USD) and for that you can exchange as many weeks as you own at your Home Resort. You can also exchange for up to three years. So, for example, if you own two weeks and arrange exchanges for three years, the average cost per exchange would be only $2.50.
There are no membership fees and no fees for Guest Certificates.

- You do not have to commit your week. There is no element of banking or depositing or in any way committing your entitlements. You can delete or amend your listing at any time before you actually agree on an exchange. After you complete your entry you will be given a reference number. This reference number will allow you to delete or alter your listing at any time. The process takes about one minute.
- It costs next to nothing to use Timex.
- Matches already in the Timex database will be displayed immediately.
- You will be given the opportunity of having Timex send automatic notices to you of (a) exact matches to your request and (b) all requests to your resort which match your travel dates.
- You have the advantage of transacting with another owner. There are many things you might like to know about a resort which the other owner is most likely to know; places to eat at and places to avoid eating at, what should you bring with you, are pets allowed, is there access for the disabled, will you need a car, is there cable television and Internet access? All sorts of things.
